Tiny homes built like real houses, not converted sheds.
Lost Prairie Cabins builds structurally engineered tiny homes in the Marion and Lost Prairie area of Montana. Real framing, real insulation and real quality in a small footprint.
Why Lost Prairie Cabins
Lost Prairie Cabins was founded by Jerry Miller and is Amish owned and operated. Every cabin is built in a small shop with the goal of feeling like a solid, stick-built home from day one.
Tamarack · Model #1632
A 16' x 32' tiny home cabin footprint that works as a full-time home, a family cabin or a guest house on family land.
- Approx. 512 square feet of main floor space.
- Room for a main floor bedroom plus loft or flex space.
- Layouts tuned for how many people you need to sleep and how you actually live.
- Options for porches, entries and interior finish details.
Many “tiny homes” start as cheap storage sheds. The Tamarack is different. It is framed, insulated and detailed from the beginning as a home, so floors feel solid, doors and windows are placed where they make sense and the structure is ready for Montana seasons.
If you like the Tamarack size but need tweaks, that is often the starting point for the conversation.
